In June of this year John Cannon and I climbed a route called Prow on Washington Column in Yosemite as my first big wall. Here's a link to that trip report.

After the Prow I was excited to get back on another wall so my buddy Laughlin and I climbed the South Face of Washington Column in July. It is typically climbed in 2 days, but we decided to do it in a day.

Here goes.....something

This is what happens when it's raining in the valley and my fingers and elbows are telling me not to go to the climbing gym today.... I start a blog. I was hoping to get a couple aid solo laps in at Guadalupe this morning before it started raining, but too late! Oh well. It will be interesting to see how this blog takes shape. Blogging is kind of a weird concept. I want to share climbing stories with my friends and family, but this seems too out there. Oh well, we'll see where this goes!
